Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc is seeking a Co-Store Director to be a strategic partner to the Store Director and lead the overall performance of the store. You will guide the full store team, support daily operations, and ensure a consistent, high-quality guest and team member experience.

You will recruit, hire, and develop team members, oversee multiple departments, and manage key financial areas such as sales, gross margin, labor planning, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, hospitality, or related field.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to drive sales, margin, and labor goals.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store team across departments to drive guest experience.
• Oversee store operations and financial performance, including sales and margins.
• Plan scheduling, workload, and labor to optimize performance.
• Maintain food safety and regulatory compliance and represent the brand in the community.
