Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc. is seeking a Co-Store Director to lead store operations and drive an exceptional guest and team member experience.

As a strategic partner to the Store Director, you will guide daily operations, oversee departments, and uphold brand standards while building a strong leadership pipeline. You will manage financial performance, labor planning, and inventory, while ensuring compliance with food safety and company policies across the store.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hospitality, or general business.
• Demonstrated success overseeing multiple departments or store-wide operations.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to achieve sales, margin, labor, and operational goals.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible, accessible leader on the sales floor, supporting team members and guests.
• Recruit, hire, and develop team members and future leaders.
