Books-A-Million is seeking a Co-Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations as a Manager On Duty, collaborating with the leadership team to maximize sales and service. You will execute merchandising plans, maintain standards, and guide staff to meet goals.

Responsibilities include leading category teams, handling customer concerns, training associates, and coordinating communication. A supervisor background and availability for varied shifts are required.

Qualifikationen

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisor role.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Aufgaben

• Maximizes profits and customer service by leading assigned category team and operating the store in accordance with company policy.
• Operates the store as the Manager On Duty with the management team.
• Maintains security and acts as a key-holding manager.
• Ensures high customer service and resolves complaints satisfactorily.
• Maintains merchandising and cleanliness and ensures operational efficiency.
• Trains and develops Associates and Leads.
• Facilitates daily briefings and regular meetings for communication.
• Drops off bank deposits and handles change orders as needed.
• Consults with the General Manager on associate performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
