Books-A-Million is seeking a Co-Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations as a Manager On Duty in collaboration with the management team. You’ll drive sales, service, and merchandising execution to maintain store standards.

You will lead category teams, ensure security, train staff, and manage customer interactions while reporting to the General Manager. This full-time role requires flexibility across shifts to meet business needs.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in a supervisor role.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsabilidades

• Maximize profits and customer service by leading the assigned category team and operating the store in accordance with company policy.
• Operate the store as the Manager On Duty with the management team.
• Maintain the store's physical security as a key-holding manager.
• Address customer complaints to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Maintain merchandising and cleanliness and ensure operational efficiency.
• Train and develop Associates and Leads.
• Communicate with staff through daily briefings and meetings.
• Handle bank deposits and cash handling as needed.
• Coordinate café and grocery supplies as needed.
• Consult with the General Manager on associate performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
