Job summary

Books-A-Million's 2nd & Charles stores are seeking a motivated Co-Manager to run the store as Manager On Duty alongside the management team. You will execute the merchandising plan across books, vinyl, movies, games, and collectibles, and set the tone for an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead a team, drive sales, ensure store standards, manage buyback and inventory, and develop teammates while delivering community-focused service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience and strong customer service skills.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations as Manager On Duty with the leadership team.
• Drive sales and customer service by leading category teams and floor decisions.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment and uphold store standards.
