Journeys is looking for a proactive individual to assist the Store Manager and Manager in Training with recruiting, hiring, and developing store personnel to meet sales goals and protect company assets. The role supports a teen retail leader known for footwear and apparel.

You will work to exceed sales targets, participate in training programs, and help manage daily operations in a fast-paced, supportive environment at The Mall of Acadiana in Lafayette, LA.

Qualificações

• Experience in recruiting and hiring retail staff.

• Willingness to learn and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilidades

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring high-caliber employees.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees.
• Ensure company initiatives are implemented per policy and direction.
• Recognize and develop staff for growth within the company.
• Supervise daily store operations in leadership absence.
• Manage loss prevention practices in leadership absence.
• Communicate store needs to management.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
• Provide a fun, full-service experience to customers.
