Qualifications

• Knowledge of child nutrition laws, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps.
• Strong time management and mathematical calculation skills for records and reports.
• Ability to read, interpret, and administer detailed instructions, schedules, and recipes.
• Capable of working independently and communicating clearly in writing and orally.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, students, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and demonstrates proficiency in Manager Trainee classroom instruction with at least 80% accuracy on evaluations.
• Learns and demonstrates proficiency in CNS Manager duties, including management, food production, sanitation, ordering, and records.
• Follows assigned duties from CNS Manager/Training leadership.
• Complies with all policies and procedures for Child Nutrition Services.
• Serves as a backup for CNS Managers when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
