Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II in Florida for the 2nd shift on weekends (6pm–6:30am). The role focuses on operating and setting up CNC machines, maintaining close tolerances, and documenting production data while adhering to GMP/GDP-like practices and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a mindset for continuous improvement. Association with tooling/machining credentials is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining preferred.
• UK GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and PM schedule.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system and support Continuous Improvement.
