Tecomet, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist II in West Palm Beach, FL. The role operates CNC machines, ensures quality, and adheres to GMP/GDP and safety standards. Weekend 2nd shift is 6pm-6:30am, with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting production metrics.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC machining experience, ability to set up and run multiple machines, read engineering drawings, and maintain strict tolerances in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience in a production environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of various parts and metals with tight tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets and adjustments for wear.
• Ensure product quality by using OOQ standards and measuring with a range of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per machine checklist and PM schedule.
• Record activities in the job tracking system and participate in Continuous Improvement.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards and follow GMP/GDP practices.
• Identify and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
• Operate multiple CNC machines and read drawings to support production goals.
