Job summary

Tecomet in Delray Beach, FL, is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate CNC machines, inspect parts, and maintain tooling while following GMP/GDP and continuous improvement practices.

You will perform routine maintenance, hand finish parts, and record data accurately. The weekend 2nd shift requirement is noted, with emphasis on safety and 5S housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment (E/D).
• Familiarity with measuring equipment and recording results.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Change dull tooling and adjust for tool wear as needed.
• Ensure quality by following OOQ standards and inspection reports.
• Perform routine machine PM tasks and basic hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards accurately.
• Maintain safe work practices and report safety issues.
• Aim for productivity targets and seek improvements.
• Record activities in the job tracking system promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate manufacturing issues to team leaders as required.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
