Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines and maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and adherence to GMP/GDP practices while meeting production targets.

The candidate will work the 2nd shift on weekends, requiring focus on efficiency and accuracy in a high-demand environment. Responsibilities include setting up machines, performing precision machining, and recording activities in the job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience preferred.
• Associate degree/certificate in tooling & machining or machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances according to work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive work on varied parts and metals.
• Change dull tooling and adjust as needed for wear.
• Ensure product quality with OOQ standards and measurement tools.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule and keep records.
