Job summary

Methods Machine Tools, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Tool Sales Representative for Southern Ohio and West Virginia. The role involves developing new customers, promoting machine tools, and coordinating with Applications, Automation, Inside Sales and Service teams to drive revenue.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in machine tool or related sales, strong communication, and a proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and exceed targets. Base compensation includes uncapped commissions and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales or Business or equivalent
• 4–6 years related experience or training in sales
• Experience in machine tool, industrial, or capital equipment sales preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and maintain the customer base in the assigned territory.
• Penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships; meet or exceed yearly sales targets.
• Analyze forecast, monitor profit margins, and adjust strategies to meet company goals.
• Maintain forecast for new business and orders in the territory.
• Coordinate product demonstrations at technical centers.
• Build professional industry relationships and understand customer needs.
• Maintain daily communication with Sales Manager and team.
• Conduct active cold calling both by phone and in person.
• Maintain CRM with contacts, accounts, opportunities, quotes, etc.
• Promote company products via social media channels and industry groups.
