Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Tool Sales Engineer to cover the Northern Ohio territory. You will work with internal support and suppliers to provide manufacturing solutions for current and future customers, focusing on Tsugami, Index, WIA, Murata, YCM, and Makino machinery.

You will build and maintain relationships, present machine solutions, and lead demonstrations while traveling to customer sites as needed. Knowledge of CNC tooling and production machining is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for the sales process from discovery to closing.
• Solid technical background in tool, die and production machining using CNC machines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Industrial sales experience is a plus.
• Good technical capability and problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and strengthen relationships with customers, prospects, and suppliers.
• Generate quotation opportunities by providing ongoing support and recommendations.
• Lead projects, demonstrations, and other customer events to ensure timely completion and resource prioritization.
• Prepare and present machine solutions for customer applications.
• Enter activity into the CRM system (Salesforce.com).
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines.
