Job summary

Mazak Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician to install CNC lathes and machining centers at customer sites, train operators, and perform warranty and post-warranty service. Qualifications include a 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly and 3–7 years of field service.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly.
• 3-7 years of field service experience is required.
• Ability to travel overnight as required.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• PLC, HYD and Pneumatic circuit knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install machines and accessories at customer sites, including leveling, aligning and wiring.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines.
• Test operation after installation or repair.
• Train customers on machine functions.
• Complete reports documenting installations and repairs.
• Travel overnight or multi-night stays.
