Job summary

Mazak Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to install CNC Lathes and Machining Centers, train customers, and perform warranty and after-warranty service. You will operate from home with regional assignments around Bohemia, NY, Hartford, CT area, and overnight travel is required.

Reporting to the Northeast Technology Center, travel to customer facilities is expected. Responsibilities include installation, diagnostics, training, documentation, and learning new machine features.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly.
• 1-3 years of Field Service experience.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Install machines and accessories at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories at customer sites.
• Train customers on functions of the machines.
• Travel overnight or multiple nights.
• Complete reports documenting installation and repairs.
