Mazak Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to install CNC Lathes and Machining Centers at customer sites and train operators. The role involves traveling from home-based locations to customer facilities, with overnight stays as needed, and reporting to the Northeast Technology Center in Hartford, CT.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software issues, testing machine operation, and learning new features as they become available.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly.
• 1-3 years of Field Service experience.
• High School Diploma.

Responsabilités

• Install machines and accessories at customer sites, including assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines at customer sites.
• Test operation of machines after installation or repair.
• Train customers on functions of the machines.
• Learn new features and accessories as they become available.
• Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of problems, repairs, and parts installed.
