Mazak Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to install CNC lathes and machining centers, train customers, and perform warranty and post-warranty service. The role is regionally based, with responsibilities from the technician's home, and requires overnight travel to customer facilities primarily around the Austin, TX area.

Responsibilities include installation, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and software systems, plus documenting service activities and staying

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of field service experience.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, with heavier lifting as needed.
• Able to understand PLC.
• Hydraulic/Pneumatic circuits.

Responsabilités

• Install machines and accessories at customer sites, including assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories at customer sites.
• Test operation of machines and accessories after installation or repair.
• Train customers on functions of the machines.
• Travel is required with overnight stays; assignments may require multiple nights away from home.
• Complete reports documenting installation, repairs, and parts used.
