Mazak Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to install CNC lathes and machining centers at customer sites, diagnose and repair issues, and train customers on operating the equipment. The role involves overnight travel from a home base with assignments primarily in the Charlotte, NC region, reporting to the Southeast Technology Center in Suwanee, GA.

Responsibilities include installation, calibration, testing, and documenting service activity.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly
• 3-7 years of Field Service experience
• Ability to travel overnight; overnight stays are expected

Responsabilités

• Install machines and accessories at customer sites, including assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines at customer facilities
• Test operation of machines after installation or repair
• Train customers on machine functions
• Learn new machine features and accessories as they become available
• Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problems, repairs, and parts installed
