Job summary

Matsuura Machinery USA Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Field Service Technician to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Matsuura machines and controls, delivering hands-on training to distributors and customers.

Strong diagnostic skills and communication are essential. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of mechanical/electrical repair and programming experience, with FANUC experience; travel and physical work are required.

Qualifications

3–5 years of mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance and programming experience with CNC machines.
2-year technical degree preferred in electrical and robotics.
Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to read schematics.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with FANUC is required; Yaskawa/Siemens preferred.
Ability to travel and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer facilities to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair Matsuura machines and controls.
Provide comprehensive training to distributors and customers via email and phone.
Use manuals and internal resources to research machine issues.
Document machine issues, repairs, and installations with detailed feedback.
Maintain knowledge of machine tool industry and Matsuura product lines.
Carry out warranty repairs and post-warranty service as needed.
Create technical bulletins and repair manuals.
