Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools at customer sites nationwide. You will provide on-site and remote support, with a focus on achieving peak performance and outstanding customer service.

This role requires extensive travel and strong electrical/mechanical expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FANUC controls, PLC programming, and the ability to diagnose complex issues across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machine tool maintenance and service (electrical & mechanical).
• 5+ years of remote technical support experience in machine tool industry.
• Experience installing/servicing machining centers, incl. leveling & alignment.
• Strong PLC programming & troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with CNC control systems, incl. FANUC controls.
• Solid understanding of power circuits & industrial electrical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication & customer service skills.
• Ability to travel extensively (100% on weekdays) & work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install new CNC machine tool systems at customer sites, incl. options & accessories.
• Perform machine leveling, geometry checks & final adjustments.
• Diagnose & troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic issues.
• Identify root causes & recommend corrective actions.
• Provide on-site & remote technical support via phone, email & other channels.
• Support customers, distributors & internal teams with guidance & problem resolution.
• Provide customer training and assist with project coordination as needed.
• Provide service support at trade shows & company events when required.
• Maintain detailed service documentation & reporting.
• Travel extensively (100%) including overnights & occasional weekends.
