Talent Solutions Partners is collaborating with a CNC machine tool builder to find a skilled Field Service Engineer. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machine tool systems at customer sites nationwide, with extensive travel between assignments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in CNC maintenance, strong PLC programming and diagnostic skills, and the ability to provide on-site and remote technical support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machine tool maintenance and service (electrical and mechanical).
• 5+ years of remote technical support within the machine tool industry.
• Proven experience installing and servicing machining centers, including leveling and geometric alignment.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CNC control systems, including FANUC controls.
• Solid understanding of power circuits and industrial electrical systems.

Responsabilités

• Install new CNC machine tool systems at customer sites, including options and accessories.
• Perform machine leveling, geometry checks, and final adjustments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related issues.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions including repair or replacement.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
• Travel extensively and provide service support at trade shows and events when required.
• Maintain detailed service documentation and reporting.
