Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot and service CNC machine tools at customer sites across the United States. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control issues, perform leveling and alignment, and provide on-site or remote support to ensure peak performance.

The role requires deep knowledge of FANUC controls, PLC programming, and power circuits, with a willingness to travel extensively and coordinate with customers,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machine tool maintenance and service (electrical and mechanical).
• 5+ years of remote technical support in the machine tool industry.
• Experience installing and servicing machining centers, including leveling and geometric alignment.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CNC control systems, including FANUC controls.
• Solid understanding of power circuits and industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install new CNC machine tool systems at customer sites, including options and accessories.
• Perform machine leveling, geometry checks, and final adjustments for peak performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and application issues.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions including repair or replacement.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
• Support customers, distributors, and internal teams with guidance and problem resolution.
• Provide customer training and assist with project coordination as needed.
• Provide service support at trade shows and company events when required.
• Maintain detailed service documentation and reporting.
• Travel extensively (100%) including overnights and some weekends.
