Morris Group, Inc., a leading CNC machine tool distributor, is seeking a driven Capital Sales Engineer to join our team in the Midwest. This role focuses on winning new business while developing long-term customer relationships by representing premium CNC equipment and delivering value-driven solutions to manufacturers across many industries.

You will identify capital equipment opportunities, build relationships, assist in evaluating applications, and collaborate with the Applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (preferred, not required).
• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or capital equipment sales.
• Strong technical aptitude for CNC machining processes.
• Proven ability to win new business and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop capital equipment opportunities within assigned territory.
• Build relationships with existing customers while developing new business prospecting skills.
• Assist in evaluating customer applications and recommending CNC machining solutions.
• Collaborate with internal Applications Engineering for time studies, turnkey project support, and machine selection.
• Assist in managing the sales cycle from prospecting through proposal and closing.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and CRM activity.
• Stay current on industry trends, machining technologies, and competitive offerings.
