Job summary

Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., seeks a motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician to join a leading regional distributor of CNC machine tools and related services. You will contribute by applying machining expertise, programming CNC equipment, and delivering customer-focused solutions in a fast-paced, growing industry.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on machining background with at least 3 years of CNC experience.
• Experience on Swiss and Okuma controls is a plus.
• Solid understanding of CAD/CAM software is vital.
• MasterCam, Esprit and SolidWorks experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Frequent travel throughout the regional territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, opportunity evaluation, machine assessment and turnkey proposals.
• Make accurate cost estimates, write engineering reports, and interpret plans and specs.
• Program and set up CNC lathes, vertical/horizontal mills, and Swiss lathes.
• Develop/implement demonstrations and train customers in safe setup and operation of CNC machines.
• Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company.
