Benchmark Senior Living at Academy Point Mystic in Waterford, CT is hiring compassionate CNAs to deliver care in a warm, home-like environment. Immediate openings include a Full-Time First Shift CNA and Part-Time 2nd Shift CNA (3 p.m.–11 p.m.) and Part-Time 3rdShift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.) with every other weekend work.

Starting hourly rate is $20.75 with a $1 shift differential on the 2nd shift. We offer paid training, medical/vision/dental benefits, 401k with company match, tuition reimbursement, and

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia care desired.

Responsibilities

• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Deliver compassionate, customer-service oriented care.

Full-Time First Shift CNA,

Part-Time 2nd Shift CNA, 3 p.m.- 11 p.m., and

Part-Time 3rd shift 11 p.m.- 7 a.m.

Every Other Weekend. Starting hourly rate is $20.75.

Shift differential eligible on 2nd Shift: $1/hour.

Academy Point Mystic is looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
