Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) to provide care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. The role focuses on daily living assistance, compassionate support, and attentive observation to ensure resident wellness.

As part of a caring team, you will document care, report changes to staff, and help residents stay engaged with meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience working with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to the nursing staff.
• Engage residents with meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
• Perform other duties as needed to support residents and team.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA/HHA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA/HHA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
