Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Crescent Point at Niantic in East Lyme, CT. Shifts available are 1st shift (7a-3p) and 2nd shift (3p-11p) with a starting hourly wage of $20.75 and a $1 shift differential for 2nd shift.

The role focuses on delivering compassionate care in a warm, home-like setting, assisting residents with daily living activities and documenting care accurately for ongoing health monitoring.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report health/behavior changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
