Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Hamden, CT is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 1st shift (7a-3p) and 2nd shift (3p-11p). The schedule is Sunday and Monday or Friday and Saturday, offering a stable part-time role in a warm, home-like community.

As a CNA, you will deliver care to residents, assist with daily living activities, document care and report changes, and support meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
