Benchmark at Newtown in Newtown, CT is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for part-time roles on 1st shift (7a-3p) and 2nd shift (3p-11p). Schedules include Sunday and Monday or Friday and Saturday.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, document care, and provide emotional support in a warm, home-like environment. Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license is required; prior dementia experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA/HHA/LNA license.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Benchmark at Newtown is hiring Part Time CNA to join their team. We're hiring on 1st Shift, 7a-3p, and 2nd Shift, 3p-11p. The schedule is Sunday and Monday or Friday and Saturday.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
