Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

The CNA will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, follow care plans, and participate in education programs. Shift options include 12-hour day or night shifts with every-other weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of CNA program and CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• English language skills essential (spoken and written).
• Physical ability to perform lifting, bending and turning.

Aufgaben

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan as delegated by RN and receive report from RN.
• Maintain safety culture and report equipment issues.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and stored properly.
• Participate in departmental education, meetings and professional initiatives.
