Requirements include Maryland CNA license, successful CNA program completion, BLS certification, and ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of a CNA program and CNA exam is required.
• Maryland CNA license is required and must be active on the Maryland Registry.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow the care plan as established by the RN.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment.
