Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX is seeking a Medical-Surgical CNA to support patient care in a busy hospital. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, feeding, vital signs, wound care under RN supervision, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

This full-time, on-site role requires a current CNA license, BLS certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute-care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown.

• Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms and ensure a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assistpatients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to preventskin breakdown, you may also feed patients who needassistanceand monitor intake/output

• Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration),observeand report changes in a patient’s condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN

• Stock andmaintainsupplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe

• Assistin transporting patients within the hospital

Qualifications

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.

2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.

4. Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred.

Facility Specific Requiremets (facility may require items listed below):

• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current per facility requirement.
