Prime Healthcare is seeking a Medical Surgical CNA at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support wound care under RN guidance.

Entry-level CNAs are welcome to apply; certification and BLS are required or pursued within 30 days. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and consistent care.

Competenze

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown and assist feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and observe changes to report to nurses.
• Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms and keep environment clean and safe.
• Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.

We are seeking aMedical Surgical CNA,also referredtoCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)or Med-Surg CNA.A Med Surg CNA willassistwith patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs whilemonitoring forany changes. Additionally, the Med SurgCNA,will help nurses bymaintainingsupplies,assistingwith wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assistpatients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting

• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to preventskin breakdown, you may also feed patients who needassistanceand monitor intake/output

• Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration),observeand report changes in a patient’s condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN

• Stock andmaintainsupplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe

• Assistin transporting patients within the hospital

Qualifications
