Job summary

Dallas Medical Center, LLC in Farmers Branch, TX is seeking a Medical/Surgical CNA to join the Med/Surg team on the Nights shift. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support wound care under the direction of an RN, and help maintain a clean, safe patient environment.

Requirements include a current CNA certification, BLS, and prefer six months of acute care hospital or physician office experience. Full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown; may assist with feeding and monitor intake/output.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nurses; may assist with wound care under RN supervision.
• Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms; keep environment clean and safe.
• Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.

Location : Dallas Medical Center - Farmers Branch, TX

We are seeking a Medical Surgical CNA , also ref erred to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Med-Surg CNA. A Med Surg CNA will assist with patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for any changes. Additionally, the Med Surg CNA, will help nurses by maintaining supplies, assisting with wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• A ssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting
• H elp with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown , you may also feed patients who need assistance and monitor intake/output
• T ake and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), observe and report changes in a patient's condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN
• S tock and maintain supplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe
• A ssist in transporting patients within the hospital

Qualifications
