Mission Regional Medical Center, a part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the MST department. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care, and help maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge.

The role is Full Time with day shifts in a hospital setting. We require a valid CNA certificate at hire, current BLS within 30 days, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum six months’ experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

The CNA in the MST department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
