Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care in the Williamston area. The CNA will perform direct patient care, hygiene assistance, transfers, basic nursing tasks, meal prep, and companionship under the Plan of Care.

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9:00–12:30, and Tuesday-Thursday 11:00–3:00. Excellent pay and dependable schedule offered in a supportive home-care environment.

Qualifications

• Maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective reading, writing and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervisor.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities according to client needs.
• Light housekeeping as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Follow EVV/time-sheet requirements.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and follow Plan of Care.
• Never administer medications.
