Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care in the Williamston area. Shifts are Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9am-12:30am and Tuesday-Thursday 11am-3pm, with excellent pay.

You will deliver direct patient care, assist with hygiene, transfers, and daily living activities, and maintain accurate records. Travel within the service area is required, with adherence to the Plan of Care and EVV requirements.

Qualifications

• Must maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication to read, write and follow directions.
• Physical tasks include lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals with client preferences and diets.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Complete EVV task or time sheet as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting.
• Follow Plan of Care and Never administer medications.
