Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide home-based care in the Williamston area. Shifts are Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9:00 am–12:30 pm and Tuesday-Thursday 11:00 am–3:00 pm, focusing on patient comfort and safety in the home.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping. Maintain confidentiality, follow the Plan of Care, and never administer medications.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification as a CNA (DFS).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and diets.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Record and report changes in client’s condition.
• Complete tasks via EVV app or time sheet as needed.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Follow Plan of Care; never administer medications.
