Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care in the Williamston area. Shifts include Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9am-12:30am and Tuesday/Thursday 11am-3pm.

You will give direct patient care in the client’s residence, maintain records, and follow the Plan of Care while upholding patient confidentiality. Responsibilities include hygiene care, transfers, meal prep, companionship, light housekeeping, and reporting changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bath, shave, hair, mouth care).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising professionals.
• Prepare meals with client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Complete tasks per EVV app or EVV time sheet.
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Adapt to client/family values and promote independence.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
• Call with questions and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
