Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with assessments and care plans. The role requires a valid CNA license and CPR preferred, with pay ranges from $21.50 to $24.50 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include identifying residents before care, documenting accurately, reporting changes to supervisors, maintaining resident privacy, and ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment on the unit.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR Preferred

Responsibilities

• Use wristband or photo card to identify residents before treatments and meals.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Protect resident privacy and report violations of protected health information.
• Follow policies for exposure to blood/body fluids and infection control.
• Assist residents with daily functions (dental care, bathing, dressing).
• Keep resident rooms ready (beds made, name tags, admission kit).
• Escort residents to rooms, introduce them to roommates and staff.
• Assist with feeding and monitor food/fluid intake, weights and vital signs as instructed.
