Qualifications

• Must have a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband or photo card before administering treatments or meals.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, or charts in a clear, descriptive manner.
• Report accidents, incidents and any exposure to blood/body fluids per policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily functions and ensure room is prepared for admission or transfer.
