Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, hygiene, meals, mobility, and comfort. CNAs monitor vital signs, document care, and report observations to nursing supervisors while upholding HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Willingness to take additional training as required by states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable with multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills for effective communication.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Be able to perform all functions under your active license or certification.
• Know the residents you serve and provide care based on care plans.
• Assist in activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Know how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
• Take on other duties within your knowledge and experience.
