Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, and support the nursing team.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, accurate record-keeping, safety, and compassionate interaction. CPR preferred. Must have minimum 10th grade education and be licensed as CNA.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, of 10th grade education.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or assisting with daily activities.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts accurately and descriptively.
• Report all changes in a resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily functions (bathing, dressing, mouth care, etc.) and ensure comfort.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and ensure safety during care.
