Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking an Engineering Staff Associate to join our geotechnical and environmental teams. The role focuses on supporting senior staff across multiple disciplines and developing skills in design, testing, and reporting.

Ideal candidates have an ABET-accredited associate degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience, with eagerness to travel to project sites. BLE offers mentorship, growth, and a pathway toward professional licensure.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in relevant fields.
• ABET-accredited degree in a related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) in progress.
• Willingness to travel regularly to local and regional project sites, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analyses, calculations, and design for site development, foundation design, and pavements.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GeoStudio, gINT, and Tablogs for design, modeling, and data analysis.
• Conduct site investigations, field inspections, and data collection to support project objectives.
• Draft exploration reports for review by senior professionals.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and basic report preparation under supervision.
