Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking an Engineering Staff Associate to contribute to diverse environmental, civil, geotechnical, and construction material testing projects. You will support senior staff, learn detailed project workflows, and gain hands-on experience toward licensure in a dynamic consulting setting.

Based in Asheville with typical travel to regional project sites, this role emphasizes growth, mentorship, and exposure to multi-disciplinary teams tasked with delivering

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited program required.
• 0–2 years of related professional experience.
• In progress towards EIT or GIT certification.
• Willing to travel regionally, including overnight stays, for site work and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analyses for site development, foundations, retaining walls, earthwork, and pavements.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and geotechnical software for modeling and reporting.
• Conduct site investigations, field inspections, and data collection.
• Draft exploration reports for review by senior staff.
