Job summary

Skorpios Technologies, Inc. in Temecula, CA seeks a CMP Process Development Engineer to help develop manufacturable, high-yield CMP processes for advanced semiconductor devices.

You will design and analyze experiments (DOE/SPC), collaborate with Integration, Operations and Maintenance, and drive improvements in yield, quality and cycle time in a 24x7 fab environment. The role requires hands-on engineering, strong communication, and ability to protect customer and IP while developing new IP.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry.
• Experience with Chemical and Mechanical Polish (CMP) and post‑polish wafer cleaning.
• Development environment experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Support development and manufacturing of CMP processes.
• Design experiments (DOE) and analyze results to target yield improvements.
• Improve production yields and efficiency across CMP steps.
• Collaborate with Integration, Operations, Maintenance and Development teams.
