Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to run the club when the General Manager is off duty. The AGM leads the team, drives membership growth and ensures a safe, clean, and engaging environment for members.

You will partner with the leadership group to manage revenue, expenses, and operational standards while delivering an exceptional member experience. The AGM will train staff, oversee shifts, and support health club operations, including guest engagement, inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years management experience highly desired.
• CPR/AED certification within first 30 days of hire.
• Alcohol/Food certification as required at applicable locations.
• Strong service orientation and ability to deliver an outstanding member experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales and lead conversion goals.
• Manage retail inventory and profitability; monitor sales achievements.
• Collaborate with GM/Area Manager on financial performance and P&L.
• Lead and develop club staff and HR/payroll processes.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming member experience.
• Respond to member feedback and safety incidents.
