Job summary

Ohana Growth Partners is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Planet Fitness club to supervise daily operations and coach team members. The AGM reports to the General Manager and helps deliver exceptional member service while upholding the Judgment Free Zone philosophy.

The position is non-exempt, hourly, full-time, with responsibilities including scheduling, payroll oversight, safety checks, and performance documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or fitness industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company's mission, core values, and Judgment Free Zone philosophy.
• Support the General Manager in daily club operations and goals.
• Open and close the club according to Company procedures.
• Work alongside front desk staff and provide exceptional member service.
• Conduct club inspections and maintain a clean, safe facility.
• Monitor payroll, revenue, expenses, and KPIs.
• Assist with interviewing candidates and hiring recommendations.
• Train and coach team members and provide workflow guidance.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage time records.
• Maintain employment records and payroll-related activities.
• Meet and greet prospective members and support sales/retention.
• Complete administrative reports and documentation.
• Comply with Company policies and laws.
