Fitness Ventures LLC in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily operations, grow memberships, and coach a high-performing team while delivering exceptional member experiences aligned with our brand values.

As the on-site leader, you will manage operations, support the General Manager, and drive service excellence, accountability, and staff development in a vibrant fitness club environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 18+ eligible to work.
• Experience leading teams in fitness, hospitality, or retail preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager in creating a culture of diversity, inclusion, and member satisfaction.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
• Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop team members to meet club goals.
• Oversee all club operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities.
• Collaborate with marketing and community outreach to grow membership.
