Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive membership growth, and develop a high-performing team while delivering exceptional member experiences that align with our brand standards.

In the absence of the General Manager, the AGM serves as the on-site leader, motivating teams, executing initiatives, and upholding service excellence with accountability and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and provide required employment documentation.
• Previous leadership/supervisory/management experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer-service environments is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in creating and maintaining a culture of diversity, inclusion, acceptance, and member satisfaction.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
• Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop team members to achieve club performance goals.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment where team members can thrive and grow professionally.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training qualified team members.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Assume leadership responsibilities and oversee all club operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Lead and inspire the membership team to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
• Monitor sales performance and provide coaching to improve conversion rates.
• Ensure accurate lead management and tracking processes are consistently executed.
• Support local marketing efforts, community outreach, and partnerships to drive growth.
• Promote club services and amenities to maximize engagement and revenue opportunities.
• Ensure a welcoming, professional member experience and resolve concerns promptly.
